Scratch that. I don't think anything with more than three or four parts should be here, and this has 11. On dA I will keep posting only one-shots, which from now on will usually be proses in Portuguese.

The draft of Life in the zoo has been around for a while. Now it has company. I have finally finished one more melody draft, Cidade viva. Portuguese, but Music is a universal language and you foreigners can always use Google Translator to get a clue of the lyrics.

I'm a decent amateur lyricist, and every lyric I posted already has a melody. I might be a decent composer as well, but dA won't help me with that part.

Not too long ago I came up with the (pretty obvious) strategy of uploading the audio for a song — let us call it melody draft — somewhere else and linking to it on the description of the song. I intend to do so with every piece in the song lyrics folder.

You will notice there are no actual lyrics on the drafts. Well, they are drafts: they're just for the sake of letting you know how the tune goes. The lyrics are replaced with one of the instruments involved; I will always tell you which one. Actual versions of the songs should be available in a distant future, when I find a singer and a studio — or have the patience to deal with Vocaloid, hehehe.

I've made a major change to the gigantic series I mentioned on the last journal. Basically, I split it in two disconnected ones (long story), and will focus on one of them and forget the other until I finish the first one.

There is yet another series (in Portuguese as well), much shorter, short enough to fit in dA. It'll be published in less than a year. There'll be a beautiful journal about it (in Portuguese) when the time is right.

As for one-shots — what people at dA really care about —, there are, as ever, a lot in the oven. I don't know how long until I get back to them, but it shouldn't take very long.

Among the one-shots, there are songs, of whose melodies you have no idea, and would never have, if it were for dA. My next journal will be about how I plan to attach melodies to my Songs & Lyrics deviations. Stay tuned!
